Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Honey
- Dijon mustard
- Slider buns
- Mayonnaise
- Cheddar or Swiss cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Optional: thyme or rosemary
Instructions
- Start by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the chicken pieces and toss until they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until it’s golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- While the chicken is cooking, lightly toast your slider buns on the grill or in the oven until they are warm and slightly crispy.
- Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a generous scoop of the cooked honey mustard chicken on top, and add a slice of cheese if desired. Top with your favorite toppings like lettuce, pickles, or sliced tomatoes. Finally, place the top half of the bun on each slider.
- Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve immediately while they are warm.
