- Nutella

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in 2 teaspoons of non-alcoholic vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- On a floured surface, roll the chilled dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread your choice of filling evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Seal the edges.
- Cut the log into 1/2 inch thick slices and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Keywords: If the dough seems too sticky, add a bit more flour, a tablespoon at a time. Experiment with different fillings like chocolate spread or fruit compote. For a festive touch, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing.
