Ingredients
- Sweet Potatoes
- Beef Bacon
- Pure Maple Syrup
- Unsalted Butter
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into uniform cubes, about 1-inch in size.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess grease, leaving some rendered fat in the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add the sweet potato cubes and toss them in the bacon fat. Drizzle with maple syrup and add butter. Season with cinnamon and nutmeg, stirring well to coat the sweet potatoes.
- Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
- In the last 5 minutes of roasting, crumble the crispy beef bacon over the sweet potatoes.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Keywords: Ensure sweet potatoes are cut into similar sizes for even cooking. Adjust maple syrup based on your sweetness preference. For added flavor, consider adding chopped pecans or walnuts during the last few minutes of roasting.
