  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the chicken.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  7. Optionally, strain the grated cucumber for a thicker tzatziki.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  9. Place naan breads on a baking sheet.
  10. Spread tzatziki sauce over each naan, leaving a small border.
  11. Distribute sliced chicken evenly over the tzatziki.
  12. Sprinkle halved cherry tomatoes on top.
  13. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
  15. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.
  16. Drizzle extra tzatziki sauce over the top.
  17. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill.
  18. Slice into quarters or halves and serve immediately.
