Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Cooked Lobster Meat, roughly chopped or shredded
  • 8 ounces Cooked Crab Meat, drained and picked through
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 (8-ounce) can Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
  • 12 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Zest of half a Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives or Parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the chopped cooked lobster meat and crab meat. Add the fresh chives or parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice, then gently fold again. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Set aside.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface and separate it into 8 triangles.
  5. Take one crescent roll triangle and place a generous spoonful of the lobster and crab filling at the wide end. Roll up the dough towards the pointed tip, pinching the seams to seal if needed. Repeat with remaining triangles and filling.
  6. Arrange the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Optionally, brush the tops with melted butter for extra richness.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are puffed and golden brown. Keep an eye on them as oven temperatures can vary.
  8. Once baked, let them cool for a minute before transferring to a serving platter. Serve warm with drawn butter or lemon-garlic aioli for dipping.
