Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of pizza dough
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 34 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 cups of low-moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 46 ounces of beef prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 23 tablespoons of hot honey, to taste
  • A handful of fresh arugula or basil for garnish
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to its highest setting (usually 475-550°F or 245-290°C) with your pizza stone or steel inside for at least 30-60 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and minced garlic. Stir well and add a pinch of salt and black pepper if desired.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, gently stretch or roll your pizza dough into a 12-14 inch circle.
  4. Carefully transfer your dough to a piece of parchment paper or a well-floured pizza peel.
  5. Spread the garlic-infused olive oil mixture over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the olive oil.
  7. Dollop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese evenly across the pizza.
  8. Scatter about half of the beef prosciutto slices over the cheese.
  9. Sprinkle with about half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  10. Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or steel in the oven.
  11. Bake for 8-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and transfer it to a cutting board.
  13. Scatter the remaining beef prosciutto over the hot pizza.
  14. Drizzle generously with hot honey.
  15. Garnish with fresh arugula or basil leaves and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese if desired.
  16. Slice, serve immediately, and enjoy!
