  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Crackers, breadsticks, or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined.
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Fold in the chopped fresh basil gently.
  5. Drizzle in the hot honey, starting with 1/4 cup, and adjust to taste. Stir until well combined.
  6. Set aside the halved cherry tomatoes for topping.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle extra red pepper flakes on top of the dip before baking.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in a baking dish (an 8×8 inch dish works well).
  10. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes on top.
  11. If using, sprinkle extra red pepper flakes over the top.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  14. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  15. Serve with crackers, breadsticks, or sliced baguette.
  16. Encourage guests to scoop generously and enjoy the irresistible combination of flavors!
