Description

This Honey Sriracha Ground Chicken and Broccoli is the perfect quick dinner — packed with protein, fiber, sweet heat, and ready in just 20 minutes! Tender ground chicken and crisp broccoli are tossed in a sticky, spicy honey-sriracha sauce for a meal that’s as easy as it is delicious. Perfect for busy weeknights, gym meals, or healthy school meal prep!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 3 tbsp sriracha sauce

  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Set aside.

  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and sauté for 3–4 minutes until just tender. Remove and set aside.

  3. Add remaining olive oil to the skillet. Add ground chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook, breaking apart, until browned (about 5–6 minutes).

  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook another 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. Pour in the sauce and stir to coat the chicken. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Return broccoli to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat well.

  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving!

Notes

  • Adjust the sriracha for more or less heat — it’s easy to make it mild or extra spicy!

  • Frozen broccoli works great — just thaw and pat dry first.

  • Double the sauce if you like it extra sticky and saucy!

  • This reheats beautifully for meal prep and tastes even better the next day.

  • Serve over jasmine rice, cauliflower rice, or rice noodles for a full meal.
