Ingredients
- Puff Pastry
- Cooked Chicken (shredded rotisserie chicken, leftover grilled chicken, or poached chicken)
- Buffalo Sauce
- Cream Cheese
- Shredded Cheese (Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack)
- Green Onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares, approximately 3 inches by 3 inches.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold each square over to form a triangle and press the edges together firmly to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
- Place the sealed puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops lightly with an egg wash made from one beaten egg mixed with a tablespoon of water.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with additional buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
