Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and optional orange zest. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface and separate it into eight triangles.
- Spread about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture over the wider end of each triangle, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle about a teaspoon of cranberries over the cream cheese filling on each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the narrow tip, tucking the filling inside.
- Place the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- For an optional glaze, whisk together powdered sugar with milk or orange juice until smooth. Drizzle over the bites after they cool for a few minutes.
