- Cooked, shredded chicken
- Frozen tater tots
- Ranch dressing
- Sharp cheddar cheese
- Green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your cooked, shredded chicken with ranch dressing, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the chopped green onions. Stir until everything is well coated.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the chicken mixture evenly along the bottom.
- Next, arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- After the initial baking time, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once done, take the dish out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Top with the remaining green onions before serving.
