Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 package (5.2 ounces) Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (or fresh dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with cooking spray.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and dried dill. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread the Boursin mixture generously over each salmon fillet.
  7. Sprinkle additional garlic powder and dill on top for flavor and presentation.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  9. For a golden-brown top, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  10. Carefully transfer the salmon fillets to serving plates, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Ensure your salmon is at room temperature before baking for even cooking.
  • Skin-on salmon can be left on while baking for moisture; it can be removed after cooking if desired.
  • Feel free to experiment with different flavors of Boursin cheese or add additional herbs and spices to suit your taste.
