Ingredients

  • Ground Beef
  • Dumpling Wrappers
  • Curry Powder
  • Onion, finely minced
  • Garlic, finely minced
  • Ginger, finely minced
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Cornstarch
  • Egg White
  • Vegetable Broth or Water
  • Soy Sauce (for dipping sauce)
  • Rice Vinegar
  • Sesame Oil (for dipping sauce)
  • Optional Chili Flakes or Sriracha

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, curry powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, egg white, and vegetable broth (or water).
  2. Using your hands, or a spoon, mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the filling for at least 15-20 minutes.
  4. Take your dumpling wrappers out of the package and have a small bowl of water ready.
  5. Place about 1 teaspoon of the curry beef filling in the center of each wrapper.
  6. Dip your finger in the water and moisten the edge of half of the wrapper.
  7. Fold the wrapper in half to create a half-moon shape, enclosing the filling, and press down firmly on the edges to seal.
  8. Place the assembled dumplings on a parchment-lined tray or plate, ensuring they don't touch each other.
  9. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  10. Lightly spray the bottom of your air fryer basket with cooking oil spray.
  11. Arrange the dumplings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them.
  12. Lightly spray the tops of the dumplings with cooking oil spray.
  13. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  14. Remove the cooked dumplings from the air fryer and set them aside.
  15. While the dumplings are air frying, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  16. If desired, stir in chili flakes or a dash of sriracha to taste.
  17. Serve your hot, crispy Air Fryer Curry Dumplings immediately with the prepared dipping sauce.

Keywords: Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket for optimal crispiness. A light spray of cooking oil on both sides of the dumplings is crucial for achieving a golden-brown wrapper. Adjust the curry powder to your liking for a milder or spicier flavor.
