Hello! I’m Lila. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my kitchen.
My love for cooking began in a peaceful village where time moved slowly and every meal told a story. I was raised in a house filled with the scent of cinnamon, fresh herbs, and laughter.
Much of my childhood was spent in my auntie’s sunlit kitchen. She was a nurturing soul with a knack for turning the simplest ingredients into something unforgettable. Her lemon cookies, slow-simmered stews, and garden-picked mint tea still live in my memory like warm hugs.
She especially loved her backyard garden—overflowing with basil, figs, and roses. It was in that little green haven that I learned the value of cooking with love, using what’s fresh, seasonal, and close to home.
Now, I’m here to share that same feeling with you—recipes filled with comfort, connection, and joy. Let’s create something delicious together.

My Kitchen
Now that I’m 30, even though she’s no longer with us, I continue to cook in her memory. This blog is my way of honoring her—sharing her warmth, her love for seasonal ingredients, and the joy she brought to every table.
When I’m not cooking, you’ll probably find me sipping coffee, flipping through old recipe journals, and dreaming up new dishes—most of them starring strawberries, of course.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope the recipes you find here bring comfort, joy, and a little taste of home to your kitchen.
